Custom Orders & Club Builds
Grater Golf offers custom golf clubs, club components, club-building services, simulator products, and other products that may be built, configured, modified, cut, or ordered specifically for an individual customer.
Because these products are created or ordered specifically for you, different cancellation and return rules may apply.
Custom Golf Clubs
Custom golf club orders may include customer-selected:
- Club heads;
- Shafts;
- Grips;
- Shaft adapters;
- Playing length;
- Shaft tipping;
- Loft;
- Lie;
- Swing weight;
- Grip size or orientation;
- Ferrules; and
- Other build specifications.
Review Your Specifications Carefully
Customers are responsible for reviewing requested build specifications before customization or assembly begins.
Please confirm all requested measurements, flexes, lengths, lofts, lies, grip selections, and other options before approving an order.
When a Custom Order Becomes Final
Once cutting, tipping, gripping, bending, assembly, customization, modification, engraving, or special ordering has begun, the order generally cannot be cancelled, changed, or returned.
Cut Shafts and Components
Shafts that have been cut, tipped, prepared, epoxied, or otherwise modified are generally final sale.
Installed grips, ferrules, adapters, weights, and other club-building components are generally final sale after installation.
Custom Simulator Products
Made-to-order simulator products may include:
- Custom-sized impact screens;
- Custom enclosures;
- Custom netting;
- Custom padding;
- Cut-to-length turf;
- Cut flooring;
- Custom framing components; and
- Other products manufactured or altered to customer specifications.
Once production or modification begins, these products are generally final sale.
Special-Order Products
Products ordered specifically from a manufacturer or distributor for an individual customer may be subject to manufacturer cancellation restrictions or fees.
If a manufacturer-specific cancellation or return policy applies, Grater Golf will use that policy for the affected product.
Changes After Production Begins
Grater Golf will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requested changes before production begins.
Once work has started, changes may not be possible or may require additional parts, labor, or charges.
Grater Golf Errors or Workmanship Issues
If Grater Golf confirms that a custom product was built differently from the specifications approved by the customer, please contact us so we can review the issue.
Confirmed Grater Golf workmanship errors will be handled separately from ordinary discretionary returns.
Club Fitting Recommendations
Club fitting provides recommendations based on the golfer's swing, measurements, preferences, and available equipment at the time of the fitting.
Fitting recommendations do not guarantee a specific score, handicap improvement, ball flight, or performance result.
Labor and Services
Labor charges for completed club building, repair, fitting, installation, consultation, or other services are generally nonrefundable.
Questions Before Ordering?
We strongly encourage customers to contact Grater Golf before placing a custom order if there is any uncertainty about specifications or compatibility.
