We help golfers throughout the Frederick, MD area with regripping, reshafting, club length adjustments, loft and lie bending, swing-weight adjustments, shaft extraction, ferrule replacement, grip removal and other club work.
Services are available by appointment. Listed prices are for labor per club, and components are sold separately. Contact Grater Golf to confirm availability, turnaround time and required components before visiting.

Re-shafting
Remove the existing shaft, install a new shaft, cut to playing length, and install a new grip.
Re-gripping
Remove the existing grip and install a new one. Extra tape wraps available on request.
Club Extension
Remove the grip, install an extension, cut to playing length, and reinstall the grip.
Club Shortening
Remove the grip, shorten the club to the requested length, and reinstall the grip.
Bend Loft / Lie
Adjust loft and lie on irons and wedges. Annual checks are recommended for forged irons.
Shaft Extraction
Safely remove a graphite or steel shaft and clean the hosel of unwanted epoxy.
Swing Weight Adjustment
Fine-tune swing weight using the appropriate method to dial in feel and balance.
Change Ferrule
Remove the shaft, clean the hosel and shaft, install a new ferrule, and reassemble.
Save Grip
Carefully remove an existing grip for reuse. Some aged or heavily worn grips may not be salvageable.
Tip Prepping
Sand and prepare a shaft tip for installation. Tip trimming: $4 per club.
