Warranty Policy
Many products sold by Grater Golf include a manufacturer's warranty. Warranty coverage, duration, exclusions, procedures, and remedies vary by manufacturer and product.
Manufacturer Warranty Coverage
Unless Grater Golf specifically provides a separate written warranty, product warranties are provided by the applicable manufacturer.
Warranty coverage may include repair, replacement, troubleshooting, replacement parts, or another remedy determined by the manufacturer.
Warranty Requirements
Manufacturers may require information before approving a warranty claim, including:
- Proof of purchase;
- Order number;
- Product serial number;
- Photographs;
- Video;
- Diagnostic logs;
- Software information;
- Troubleshooting steps;
- Product registration; or
- Direct communication with the manufacturer.
How Grater Golf Can Help
Grater Golf will assist customers with manufacturer warranty communication when practical.
Depending on the manufacturer, the customer may be asked to work directly with the manufacturer's technical support or warranty department.
Warranty Claims Are Different From Returns
A product that has been opened, installed, mounted, activated, or used may no longer qualify for a standard return but may still qualify for manufacturer warranty service.
Defective products are therefore generally handled through the applicable warranty process rather than the standard return process.
Software and Firmware
Launch monitors, simulator computers, projectors, and other technology products may require software, firmware, drivers, updates, subscriptions, or third-party services.
Changes to third-party software, subscriptions, compatibility, or system requirements are generally controlled by the applicable third-party provider and are not considered a hardware defect unless otherwise determined by the manufacturer.
Damage Not Normally Covered
Manufacturer warranties commonly exclude damage caused by circumstances such as:
- Improper installation;
- Accidental damage;
- Misuse or abuse;
- Unauthorized modification;
- Water or moisture damage;
- Electrical problems or surges;
- Improper mounting;
- Failure to follow manufacturer instructions;
- Normal wear and tear; or
- Use outside the manufacturer's intended purpose.
Final warranty eligibility is determined by the applicable manufacturer.
Shipping for Warranty Service
Responsibility for shipping costs associated with warranty service is determined by the manufacturer.
Grater Golf cannot guarantee that shipping, removal, reinstallation, travel, labor, or related expenses will be covered by a manufacturer's warranty.
