Its stable profile is designed to stand up to faster swings and aggressive transitions without sacrificing the crisp, responsive impact sensation associated with KBS steel shafts.
The C-Taper is available in both .355-inch taper-tip and .370-inch parallel-tip configurations, allowing club builders to match its performance characteristics with a wide range of compatible iron and wedge heads.

Who Is the KBS C-Taper Designed For?
The C-Taper is intended for golfers who naturally produce enough launch and spin but want a more controlled, penetrating ball flight. It is particularly well suited to stronger players, quicker tempos and more aggressive transitions.
Players who struggle to launch their irons or need additional spin may benefit from a lighter or higher-launching KBS model. Professional fitting is recommended when choosing the proper model, weight and flex.

Discrete-Length Design
.355-Inch Taper Tip
Each .355 taper-tip shaft is manufactured for a specific club position. Select the shaft that corresponds with the iron or wedge in which it will be installed.
Available for 2-iron through 9-iron, pitching wedge and sand wedge.
Single-Length Raw Shaft
.370-Inch Parallel Tip
The .370 parallel model is supplied as a 43-inch raw shaft. It must be tip-trimmed for the intended club and then butt-trimmed to final playing length.
Trimming affects how the shaft plays and should follow the official KBS instructions.

C-Taper Flex and Weight Comparison
Taper-tip and parallel-tip models use different raw weights and construction methods. Confirm the selected tip configuration and flex before ordering.
Ordering and Installation Information
- Shafts are sold individually unless the product options specifically indicate otherwise.
- For a .355 taper-tip set, select the shaft designated for each individual iron or wedge.
- A standard 3-PW set requires eight shafts.
- The .370 parallel shaft is supplied at 43 inches and must be tip-trimmed for its intended club before being butt-trimmed to playing length.
- Professional installation is strongly recommended to ensure proper trimming, hosel preparation, finished length and swing weight.
Important Compatibility Notice
A .355 taper-tip shaft and a .370 parallel-tip shaft are not automatically interchangeable. Confirm your clubhead’s hosel diameter before ordering.
Do not alter the clubhead hosel or shaft tip solely to force an incompatible fit unless the work is being completed by an experienced club-building professional.
