C-Taper Performance in a Lighter Package
The KBS C-Taper Lite incorporates proven KBS performance characteristics into a lighter-weight steel shaft. Its firm tip and softer butt section work together to deliver a mid-high trajectory, controlled spin and a responsive feel.
A constant-taper design and proportionate increase in wall thickness help optimize energy transfer through impact. According to KBS, independent testing produced more than five yards of additional distance. Individual results will vary based on the golfer, clubhead and completed build.
This listing offers both .355″ taper-tip and .370″ parallel-tip configurations. These constructions require different fitting and trimming procedures, so confirm the clubhead’s hosel diameter before ordering.

Choose the Correct Tip, Weight and Flex
The .355″ taper-tip family is available in three profiles:
- Regular: 105g
- Stiff: 110g
- X-Stiff: 115g
The .370″ parallel-tip models use longer single-length blanks and have different uncut weights. All current options feature a Satin finish.
Option 1
.355″ Taper Tip
Discrete-length shafts made for iron and wedge heads with .355″ taper-tip hosels. Select the individual shaft designated for the club being built.
Option 2
.370″ Parallel Tip
Single-length 42″ blanks made for iron and wedge heads with .370″ parallel-tip hosels. Each shaft must be tip- and butt-trimmed for the intended club.

Important Tip and Trimming Information
.355″ taper-tip and .370″ parallel-tip shafts are different constructions and should not be treated as interchangeable. Confirm your iron head’s hosel specification before ordering.
The .355″ taper version uses discrete, club-specific shaft lengths. Select the individual shaft designated for the club being built.
The .370″ parallel version is a 42″ single-length shaft that must be tip- and butt-trimmed for the intended club. Trimming can change how the shaft plays. A 3–PW build requires eight shafts.
