Weight and flex perform different jobs. Shaft weight affects
total club weight, timing, speed and stability. Flex affects how the shaft
loads and releases. A heavier shaft is not automatically stiffer, and a
lighter shaft is not automatically softer.

Installation note: Tip trimming and butt trimming are
separate operations. Complete any required tip trimming before installation,
then butt trim to final playing length after accounting for the clubhead,
adapter or hosel insertion depth. Cutting is permanent.

What does PGW stand for?
PGW stands for Players Graphite Wood. It extends the KBS Players Graphite
performance family into driver and fairway-wood applications.
Which PGW weight should I choose?
Lighter weights may help some golfers create speed and reduce total club
weight, while heavier weights can provide additional stability and a
different sense of control. The best choice depends on swing speed, tempo,
transition, club length, clubhead weight and personal preference.
What is the difference between X-Stiff, Tour X and Tour XX?
These are progressively stronger KBS profiles. Tour X and Tour XX are
intended for players whose speed and delivery require additional support.
They should not be selected from swing speed alone; transition force, release,
clubhead weight and desired feel should also be evaluated.
Can PGW be installed in both drivers and fairway woods?
Yes. PGW is designed for driver and fairway-wood applications. KBS specifies
no standard driver tip trim and provides progressive tip trimming for
fairway-wood installations.
Why is the 40g shaft shorter than the other models?
KBS lists the 40g PGW at a 45-inch raw length. The 50g, 60g, 70g and 80g
models are supplied at 46 inches raw. Always confirm that the raw shaft
provides enough material for the intended finished build.
Does the shaft include a grip or adapter?
No. This listing is for the uncut shaft only unless an installed component
or build service is specifically selected. Clubhead, adapter, ferrule, grip,
trimming and installation are separate.

ferrule selection and grip installation. Service and component availability
should be confirmed before ordering.
