Consistent with Sub 70's promise to only release new clubs when we have made definitive gains in performance that will help your game, the new Sub 70 859 Driver is the product of 3 years of research and development with prominent club designer and engineer, Bob Renegar. The 859 Driver starts with a traditionally shaped chassis of 460 cc, but that is where the ode to tradition ends.
Our New Patent-Pending Axis of Rotation Technology (ART) club design first alters the bulge and roll face curvature typically utilized by other OEMS by utilizing a single face curvature that extends from low heel to high toe. The result of this single face curvature is more accuracy during off-center impact. Then secondarily, re-positioning mass relative to this Axis of Rotation also provides more effective club head stability (MOI) during off-center impact. With this more effective MOI and better managed gear effect, your tee shots will be longer and straighter, even on off-center strikes. Our 859 Driver represents industry-leading new technology and a quantum leap in performance.
