Clear the Floor and Step Up to the Ball

Mounted above the hitting area, the Hawkeye keeps tracking hardware away from the golfer and supports both right- and left-handed play. Its two Firefly cameras capture impact and early ball movement at high speed while the system analyzes club delivery and ball launch.

Ball speed and launch angle are measured directly. AccuGOLF’s physics-based machine-learning system combines those measurements with club-delivery information to calculate spin and produce the simulated ball flight.

  • Overhead installation keeps the hitting area uncluttered
  • Supports right- and left-handed golfers
  • Swing and impact replay capabilities
  • Direct CAT6 connections help reduce shot latency
  • Designed for full swings, wedges and short-game practice

See the Shot Without Waiting

Two direct Ethernet connections transfer tracking information to the simulator computer, helping the Hawkeye process shots in approximately 0.2 seconds. The result is a natural transition from impact to projected ball flight.

High-speed image capture also helps the system analyze the critical moments around impact—especially useful for club delivery, contact and shorter shots where small changes can produce large differences.

Plan before ordering

Room and Installation Requirements

Confirm the complete room—not just the enclosure—before selecting an overhead launch monitor.

Single-Handed Room

12′ W × 9′ H × 14′ D

Manufacturer-listed minimum for a room arranged primarily for one hitting orientation.

Ambidextrous Room

16–17′ W × 9′ H × 14′ D

Additional width is needed to comfortably support right- and left-handed golfers.

Hitting Position

7–9′ From Screen

The manufacturer recommends positioning the tee approximately seven to nine feet from the impact screen.

Room dimensions are minimum planning guidance. Confirm full-swing clearance for the tallest golfer, enclosure depth, impact-screen movement, projector placement, ceiling obstructions, lighting, computer location and safe walking clearance before ordering.
Important compatibility information

Simulator Computer Requirements

Product questions

AccuGOLF Hawkeye FAQ

Can right- and left-handed golfers use the Hawkeye?

Yes. Because the Hawkeye is mounted above the hitting area, it supports right- and left-handed golfers without moving a portable floor unit. Ambidextrous installations require additional room width.

Does the Hawkeye measure spin directly?

Ball speed and launch angle are measured directly. The Hawkeye combines those measurements with club-delivery and initial trajectory information to calculate spin and ball flight through AccuGOLF’s physics-based machine-learning model.

How large is the hitting zone?

The manufacturer lists the Hawkeye hitting zone as approximately 24 inches wide by 12 inches long.

How quickly does the simulated shot appear?

AccuGOLF lists an approximate processing time of 0.2 seconds using the system’s direct CAT6 connections and compatible computer hardware.

Is GSPro included?

The current manufacturer package lists one year of GSPro. Software promotions can change, so the configuration and order confirmation on Grater Golf determine the software included with your purchase.

Can I use a laptop or compact simulator PC?

The Hawkeye requires two direct Ethernet connections through the included PCIe dual-port LAN card. Most laptops and many compact computers cannot accept this internal expansion card. Confirm compatibility with Grater Golf before purchasing.

What else is needed for a complete simulator?

A complete installation normally requires a compatible Windows computer, impact screen or enclosure, projector or display, hitting mat, turf, simulator software, safe swing clearance, power and network access. These items are not included unless specifically listed in your selected package.
