Can Rainmaker work without a phone or tablet?
Yes. Rainmaker has a built-in display and three standalone modes. A connected device is used when you want the additional analytics, history and simulator features available through compatible apps.
Can I use Rainmaker indoors and outdoors?
Yes. It is designed for portable use at the range, at home and in compatible indoor simulator environments. Follow Blue Tees placement and space instructions for the environment you choose.
Does it work with GSPro or E6?
Blue Tees lists compatibility with GSPro and E6. The appropriate software license, computer and other simulator components may be required and are generally sold separately.
Do I need radar-enhanced golf balls?
No. Rainmaker is designed to read standard golf balls and is also optimized for compatible radar-enhanced balls. Radar-enhanced balls may improve spin measurement in some environments.
Is it completely waterproof?
No. An IPX4 rating means resistance to splashing water; it does not mean the unit should be submerged or left exposed to severe weather.
