Built for better practice

Choose the surface around your swing and strike pattern.

1

Standard insert

The versatile original uses the same turf as the HotShot mat, accepts real tees and provides clear feedback on heavy strikes.

2

Foam Divot strip

The most joint-friendly option, intended for long sessions, family play and golfers prioritizing forgiveness.

3

Gel Divot strip

The most turf-responsive option, designed to reward ball-first contact and provide more realistic feedback on fat shots.

Fit and care guidance

Measure the receiving opening before cutting another mat or floor. Keep the insert supported across its full underside and flush with adjacent surfaces; inspect seams and the strike area regularly.

Catalog note

All three official insert types are represented as Shopify variants; prices preserved.

Comfort varies by golfer: No hitting surface can eliminate every impact force. Strike pattern, subfloor, stance, footwear and practice volume all affect feel. Stop using a mat if it causes pain and consult an appropriate professional when needed.

Product questions

Frequently asked questions

Will this sit flush with my simulator floor?
Compare the published finished height with every adjacent layer, including rubber base, foam, stance turf and underlayment. A recessed strip needs full support and flush edges.
Can right- and left-handed golfers use it?
That depends on mat width, insert location, launch-monitor ball position and room clearance. Larger centered systems generally provide more flexibility; confirm the complete layout before ordering.
Can Grater Golf help select the correct option?
Yes. Send your room dimensions, current flooring height, golfer handedness, launch monitor and preferred strike feel so we can review compatibility.
