Grater Golf Albatross Golf Simulator Enclosure with Preferred Impact Screen
Grater Golf Albatross Golf Simulator Enclosure with Preferred Impact Screen
Grater Golf Simulator Enclosure
Grater Golf Albatross Golf Sim Bay
A commercial-style, wall-to-wall simulator enclosure featuring a Preferred Impact Screen, layered ball protection and a clean built-in appearance.
Transform Your Room into a Dedicated Golf Studio
The Grater Golf Albatross Golf Sim Bay is designed to fill the width of your simulator room, creating a clean and professional installation without the open gaps commonly found around traditional freestanding enclosures. Its centered impact-screen viewport, angled interior netting and blackout fabric surround create an immersive environment for home, commercial and teaching applications.
Wall-to-Wall Design
Built to fill the width of the room and create the appearance of a dedicated simulator studio.
Preferred Impact Screen
Provides the projection and hitting surface at the center of the Albatross enclosure.
Layered Ball Protection
Angled side netting, a rear baffle and a protective screen-pole valance help contain errant shots.
Rigid Top Structure
Rigid steel-channel support across critical spans helps reduce sagging on wider installations.
More Than a Traditional Simulator Cage
The Albatross is designed to look like an integrated simulator room rather than a cage placed in the middle of a larger space. The enclosure extends beyond the impact-screen opening, while blackout side shades and angled interior netting transition inward toward the centered projection area. This creates a finished, theater-like appearance while improving left-to-right shot protection.

Purpose-Built Safety Features
Recessed Screen Position
The impact screen hangs approximately 12 inches forward of the back edge, helping keep rear structural components outside the direct hitting area.
Angled Side Protection
Interior netting angles inward toward the screen viewport to improve protection across the width of the room.
Screen-Pole Valance
A durable safety valance hangs approximately six inches in front of the screen support to reduce direct ball contact with the structure.
Rear Baffle Net
An additional baffle behind the impact screen helps manage screen movement and provides another protective layer.
Hidden Tensioning
The concealed bungee system helps maintain a flatter screen while keeping tensioning hardware away from the hitting area.
Rigid Wide-Span Support
Steel-channel support is used across critical upper spans to improve rigidity in wider simulator-bay configurations.

Choose the Right Enclosure Depth
5-Foot Depth
A space-conscious configuration for rooms where overall depth is limited.
- Uses less room depth
- Suitable for carefully planned home installations
- Requires proper golfer-position and ceiling-protection planning
8-Foot Depth
Provides extended side and overhead coverage for larger rooms and commercial-style installations.
- Additional side containment
- More immersive enclosure appearance
- Recommended when room dimensions allow the additional depth
Rigid Support for Wide Simulator Bays
The Albatross uses rigid steel-channel support across critical screen and front spans, helping the enclosure remain straighter across wider room configurations.
Important: Frame Tubing and Steel Channel
The connector hardware is included, but 1-inch EMT tubing, steel channel and related structural materials are not included by default unless specifically selected as an option.
Structural materials may be added to the order when available or purchased locally to reduce oversized shipping costs. Review all selected product options before checkout.
