Choosing weight and flex
Mitsubishi points sub-80 mph drivers toward 43 R2/R or 53/63 R, 81 to 90 mph toward R or SR, 91 to 105 mph toward S or X, and 106 mph and up toward X or TX in the 53 through 83 classes. The 73 and 83 versions are meant for 91 mph and faster. Tip trim before install is 0 in. for driver, 0.5 in. for a 3-wood, 0.75 in. for a 5-wood and 1 in. for 7- and 9-woods.
