Kai'li Dark Waves Red CB is the counterbalanced version of the higher-launching Dark Waves Red. Extra material in the handle adds stability and weight under the hands so the club head can move faster. It shares the family's MR70 and Super Low Resin Content Prepreg construction and comes in light 40, 50 and 60 classes from 44 to 64.5 grams with a low kick point.

This shaft is typically offered as a stock or custom option in TaylorMade clubs, so contact Grater Golf for availability. Mitsubishi points the 40 to R3 or R2 for drivers under 80 mph, the 50 to R2 or R for moderate speeds, and the 60 in R or S as speed rises toward 105 mph. Trim 0.5" for 3 wood, 0.75" for 5 wood and 1" for 7 and 9 woods.

How is the CB different from other Dark Waves shafts?
It moves material toward the handle for counterbalance, adding stability and letting the head move faster, and it is offered in lighter weights.
Is it the same as a TENSEI Orange?
Both are counterbalanced, but Orange is used only on TENSEI models. This is a Kai'li Red profile with higher launch.
