MMT Parallel is the matte-finished, 0.370 parallel-tip version of Mitsubishi's Metal Mesh iron shaft. As the prepreg layers are built up, a short section of braided 304 stainless steel mesh goes in toward the tip, raising density and stability while allowing thinner composite walls. It plays mid launch and mid spin for golfers curious about graphite irons who want more consistent center-face contact.

Choosing weight and flex
Order one shaft per club and we tip trim each blank by position: nothing on the 3-iron, then another half inch per club up to 3.5 inches at PW. As a starting point, Mitsubishi pairs 40 L, 50 L or 60 A with driver speeds near 80 mph, 60 to 80 R with 81 to 90 mph, and 80 S or 90 S with 91 to 105 mph.

Should I choose MMT Parallel or MMT Taper?
This version has a 0.370 tip trimmed per club and plays mid launch, mid spin. MMT Taper uses a club-specific 0.355 tip, a gloss finish, a lower-spin profile and heavier options up to 125 grams.
