Counterbalanced, low-launch, low-spin TENSEI 1K Pro with tungsten in the handle

Mitsubishi Chemical Β· Wood Shafts

Mitsubishi TENSEI 1K Pro Orange Wood Shaft

Orange is Mitsubishi's code for counterbalanced, and the TENSEI 1K Pro Orange uses tungsten powder in the handle to shift weight toward the grip and free up the tip side for more head speed. It flies low with low spin, pairs 1K carbon fiber in the handle with MR70 toward the tip, and comes in 50 through 80 gram classes from R to TX.

Why golfers choose it

Counterbalanced for speed, and more.

1

Counterbalanced for speed

Tungsten powder in the handle concentrates mass under the hands, which lets the tip side work harder and helps players pick up club head speed.

2

Steady handle feel

1K carbon fiber in the handle resists ovalizing under load, adding stability and a cleaner feel through the swing.

3

Low, flat flight

A medium butt, firm-plus midsection and firm tip produce low launch and low spin, with torque from 2.4 to 3.9 degrees.

Mitsubishi recommends R in the 50 and 60 for 81 to 90 mph drivers, S in the 50, 60 and 70 for 91 to 105 mph, and X or TX across all four weights above 106 mph. The 70 and 80 start at S, and the 80 is charted for the fastest swings. Tip trim runs 0" for driver, 0.5" for 3 wood, 0.75" for 5 wood and 1" for 7 and 9 woods.

Product questions

Frequently asked questions

What does Orange mean on a TENSEI?
It marks a counterbalanced design, with extra weight and material in the handle. Mitsubishi uses the Orange label only on TENSEI profiles.
How does it compare with other low-launch TENSEI 1K Pro models?
It shares the low-launch, low-spin character but adds tungsten-based counterbalance, so it suits players who like a heavier feel in the hands and want extra speed.
Will Grater Golf assemble it for me?
We can tip it to your head's adapter, cut it to your build length and install the grip of your choice.
