VANQUISH is Mitsubishi's super-premium lightweight wood shaft, developed with input from LPGA Tour players and modeled on the action of a fly fishing rod: a stable handle feeding an active tip to accelerate the head. It spans the VANQUISH 3, 4 and 5 weight classes, from 36 to 59 grams, with the newest VANQUISH 3 made in Japan.

Choosing weight and flex
The VANQUISH 3 runs R3 or R2 for drivers under 80 mph, R from 81 to 90, S from 91 to 105 and X above that. The VANQUISH 4 and 5 start in R2, move to R or SR at 81 to 90 mph and SR or S at 91 to 105 mph, with X for faster swings. Tip trim is 0" for driver, 0.5" for 3 wood, 0.75" for 5 wood and 1" for 7 and 9 woods.

Is a lightweight shaft right for me?
VANQUISH is aimed at players who want to see whether less weight raises their club head and ball speed. A fitting is the clearest way to compare it against your current shaft.
What is the difference between VANQUISH 3, 4 and 5?
They are weight classes. The 3 runs 36 to 43 grams with very high torque, the 4 runs 47 to 52 grams, and the 5 runs 53 to 59 grams with the lowest torque.
