The Sub 70 699 Pro v3 Irons use the same Forged VFT face as the 699 v3, made from ultra-thin 455 Carpenter aerospace steel and CNC milled for consistent ball speed, in a more compact, traditional package. A thinner top line, reduced offset, new cambered sole and revised internal weighting give better players added distance and forgiveness on off-center strikes while keeping the ability to work the ball high, low, left or right.

Aimed at 5 to 15 handicaps who want distance without giving up workability. Sets run 4-iron through AW, and the Pro v3 combines easily with the 699 v3 for a more forgiving long-iron setup. How does the Pro v3 differ from the 699 v3?
Same face and construction, but the Pro v3 has less offset, a thinner top line and a more compact shape for better players who want to shape shots.
Why choose the Taper Tip version?
Taper Tip heads have a .355 taper hosel, which opens up taper tip iron shafts such as Dynamic Gold, KBS Tour, Project X LZ and KBS $-Taper in taper tip form. Choose the Parallel .370 version if you prefer parallel tip shafts or graphite options.
