The Sub 70 699 v2 Irons came out of three years of development aimed at balancing distance, forgiveness and playability. The two-piece, TPE resin-injected hollow body in 431 stainless steel is paired with a reactive 1.7mm Variable Face Thickness face of S450 aerospace steel for more distance and steadier results across the face. An expanded channel back, internal reinforcing ribs, a squared leading edge and a 4-way cambered sole add forgiveness and playability.

Designed for 10 to 25 handicaps. Sets run 4-iron through PW with matching GW and SW, and both right- and left-handed sets are offered in select configurations. Prices shown are for the full set selected; per-club upgrade charges are calculated from the number of clubs in that set.

Is the 699 v2 available left-handed?
Yes. Several set configurations are offered left-handed; the menus above only show combinations Sub 70 builds.
Why choose the Taper Tip version?
Taper Tip heads have a .355 taper hosel, which opens up taper tip iron shafts such as Dynamic Gold, KBS Tour, Project X LZ and KBS $-Taper in taper tip form. Choose the Parallel .370 version if you prefer parallel tip shafts or graphite options.
