The Sub 70 859 Driver is the result of three years of research and development with club designer and engineer Bob Renegar. It starts with a traditional 460cc shape, then adds Sub 70's patent-pending Axis of Rotation Technology (ART): a single face curvature running from low heel to high toe that manages gear effect better on off-center hits. Mass repositioned around that axis boosts effective MOI, so mishits fly longer and straighter.

No-upcharge shaft choices from Sub 70 include LA Golf A-Series (High, Mid and Low launch), Project X Denali Red, Blue and Black Frost, and KBS Max HL / Project X Denali Red 40 in senior and lady flexes. Premium upgrades such as UST Proforce V2, KBS TD 2.0, Aldila NV, Newton, Fujikura Ventus Velocore+ and Graphite Design Tour AD are also available. Standard length is 45.5", with lengths from 43" to 46" and lady standard 44" available.

Frequently asked questions
What lofts are available?
9° and 10.5°, right- or left-handed. The hosel adjusts loft from about -2° to +2° and changes lie and face angle with it.
How is the 859 different from the 859 Pro?
The 859 has a 460cc head and slightly closed face for maximum forgiveness. The 859 Pro is a 450cc head with a carbon fiber crown and heel, a 1° open face and a sleeker look for better players.
Can I choose my shaft, grip and length?
Yes. Choose your hand and loft above, then pick flex, shaft, grip size, grip and club length in Build Options. Every club is custom built to those specs, and premium shaft and grip upcharges are added to your cart automatically.
