The Sub 70 949X Pro Hybrid is built for low handicap players who usually prefer long irons. Its smaller, more compact head resembles a long iron at address, a redesigned sole cuts turf drag for easy shot shaping from the tee or rough, and a factory 1Β° open face with a toe weight port helps counter the typical hybrid draw. A 1.8mm 455 Carpenter steel face delivers strong ball speed.

Lengths run from 2" under to 1" over standard, plus lady standard.

949X Pro or 949X?
The Pro is smaller and more iron-like with an open face to reduce the draw, aimed at better players. The 949X is larger and more forgiving with a mid-high launch.
Can I choose my shaft, grip and length?
Yes. Choose your hand and loft above, then pick flex, shaft, grip size, grip and club length in Build Options. Every hybrid is custom built to those specs, and premium shaft and grip upcharges are added to your cart automatically.
