The TAIII Desert Inn is a compact, open-cavity mallet that pushes weight to the perimeter for stability on off-center strikes. It is CNC milled from 1045 carbon steel, with a 455g stock head adjustable from 435g to 465g and an alignment system that frames the ball. It is built on the TAIII Offset Graphite/Steel shaft with a 15-inch counterbalanced grip.

Can the Desert Inn be built with a different shaft?
No. The TAIII Offset Graphite/Steel shaft is required for this model, paired with the 15-inch counterbalanced TAIII grip.
How does it compare with the Sycamore 009 mallet?
The Desert Inn is heavier, at 455g stock and adjustable from 435g to 465g, and uses an open-cavity, counterbalanced design. The 009 runs 390g stock (370-400g) with triple sight lines and is not counterbalanced.
