The Sub 70 TAIII Forged Wedge was shaped personally by PGA Tour winner Tommy Armour III with versatility as the goal. A fully milled sole works in any turf condition and handles everything from full swings to open-faced flops, while an optimized laser process adds micro grooves between the main grooves for extra spin and tighter distance control. Standard and low bounce (LB) options let you match the sole to your swing and course.

Lofts, bounce and custom build
Standard bounce versions run 7Β° to 12Β°; low bounce (LB) versions run 7Β° to 8Β° for firm conditions, tight lies and players with a shallow angle of attack. Loft availability varies by finish, so the loft menu above shows only what can be built in each finish. Built with a .370 parallel hosel.

What does LB mean?
LB is the low bounce version of that loft. For example, the 56Β° is 12Β° bounce while the 56Β° LB is 8Β°, which sits lower to the ground on firm turf and tight lies.
Parallel or Taper Tip?
This version has a .370 parallel hosel for parallel tip iron shafts such as Dynamic Gold, KBS Tour, Project X and Nippon Modus. A Taper Tip .355 version is also available if you prefer taper tip wedge shafts.
Can I choose my shaft, grip, length and lie?
Yes. Pick your finish and loft above, then choose flex, shaft, grip size, grip, club length, lie angle, step pattern and ferrule in Build Options. Every wedge is custom built to those specs, and premium shaft, grip and ferrule upcharges are added to your cart automatically.
